Experience I’m often asked why don’t I
ever paint myself in my paintings I
always say I do but I am always bundled
up inside one
of what the hey there Joe B is that
really you it’s okay Joe just a pleasant
dream you’re having stay calm focus on
your painting I don’t even know how to
paint sh we’re going to have a lot of
fun creating a beautiful painting
together Joe we’re going to paint a
majestic elk in the Forest but sh let’s
start with the sky we’ll take a little
bit of xrp blue and mix it with a touch
of igy aelia white just a small amount
just let the color blend right down as
it gets closer to the Horizon okay but
what type of elk are we going for Rocky
Mountain Roosevelt the elk can be
whatever type you want it to be Joe it’s
your painting now let’s create the
forest background we’ll take some dollar
green and a touch of shitcoin brown
start at the bottom and work your way up
making The Strokes shorter and lighter
As you move up to create the illusion of
trees Fading Into the distance when you
say illusion you mean like I’m tripping
and they’re not actually there you’re
overthinking Joe just draw the freaking
tree okay okay now for the fun part our
Majestic elk don’t worry about the
details right now just get the basic
shape down is this elk male or female
joke what did I say about overthinking
right sorry once you have the shape of
the body let’s add the antlers okay so
it’s a male Joe I’ve never been angry
while painting let’s keep it that way
anyways make sure to vary the pressure
on your brush remember nature is not
perfect and that’s what makes it so
beautiful okay nice this is starting to
look like something good for the Elk’s
face we’ll use our shitcoin Brown again
let’s also bring back some of that pasty
Iggy aelia white for the eyes and give
them a bit of life oh wow yeah we’re
nearly there finally let’s add some
final touches to our forest just let
your imagination run wild boy is it
running B okay and there you have it Joe
a beautiful painting of a majestic elk
standing in the forest let’s see yours
